Sandwich dial
The upper plate forms the markings while the luminous layer beneath illuminates the hour indices.
Case form
The straight steel case flank meets a raised circular bezel. The crown and strap junction are clearly visible in profile. Together, these distinct elements give the SA-1 the utilitarian presence of a wrist-worn instrument.
Pins and expansion modules
The case has four external attachment points for pins and future modules. The pins are user-replaceable with a 2 mm hex screwdriver.
