Privacy policy
Who handles your data
Solos Vital SASU operates Specus at specus.space and is responsible for the personal data described here. Registered address: 11 rue de Magdebourg, 75116 Paris, France. For privacy requests, write to [email protected] or to this postal address.
Pre-order interest list
The SA-1 form collects your email and country (required), name (optional), chosen language, product, form location and source, registration date and the status of your enquiry. Without an email and country, the form cannot register your request. The country helps us respond about availability and delivery; it is not a street address.
We use these details to send the SA-1 price, timing and pre-order opening information you request. Joining this list does not place an order or require payment. Registration is voluntary: submitting the clearly labelled registration form requests these emails. You can withdraw this consent by emailing us at any time; this does not affect processing already carried out. We do not use this registration to subscribe you to unrelated promotions or to partners’ mailing lists.
Correspondence and website security
If you contact us by email, we process your contact details and the information in your message to answer it. The basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or steps taken at your request before a contract where relevant. Please do not send sensitive information that is unnecessary for your enquiry.
Hosting and security systems process technical request information, including IP address, time and requested URL, to deliver the site, diagnose failures and limit abuse. This is based on our legitimate interest in running a secure service.
Audience measurement
Only after you accept analytics do we load Google Analytics 4. It measures pages visited, referrer, device and browser characteristics, approximate location and website events, including successful SA-1 registrations. The basis is your consent, separate from joining the interest list. Refusing analytics does not prevent registration. We do not send the form’s name, email or country values to Google Analytics. We do not enable Google Signals or advertising personalisation in the site’s tracking code.
See the cookie policy for storage periods and controls. Technical requests to Google Fonts are also made to display Roboto Mono; these requests expose your IP address and browser request information to Google. This font service is separate from Analytics. Google Fonts privacy information.
Who receives information
Access to registration records is limited to people authorised to manage Specus enquiries and OVH SAS (OVHcloud) for website hosting and the technical providers needed for email delivery. Analytics data is processed by Google when you consent. We do not sell registration details or share them with collaboration partners for their own marketing.
Google services can involve processing outside the European Economic Area, including the United States. Google describes its data-processing terms and transfer safeguards in its service terms and privacy policy. Contact us for information about the safeguards applicable to your data. Links to Instagram and other external services open their sites; those services have their own policies.
How long information is kept
Interest-list data is kept while your registration is active and needed for the requested SA-1 launch updates. You can ask us to remove your registration at any time. When the requested updates end, identifiable registration data should no longer be retained for that purpose. Correspondence is retained as needed to resolve the enquiry and meet any applicable record-keeping or legal obligations. Technical logs are kept for operational security and troubleshooting rather than marketing. Records needed for legal obligations or claims may be retained separately for that purpose.
Google Analytics user-level and event-level retention is configured to 14 months. Aggregated statistics can remain longer. Cookie lifetimes are different from this retention period and are listed in the cookie policy.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you can request access, correction, erasure or restriction, object where processing is based on legitimate interests, and request portability where applicable. You can withdraw consent for SA-1 emails or analytics independently. To exercise these rights, email [email protected]. We may ask for proportionate information to verify that the request concerns your data. We respond within one month, subject to the extensions permitted for complex requests.
You may complain to the French supervisory authority, the CNIL, or your local supervisory authority. Registration is not used for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
Changes
This policy covers the current website and interest form. If the data, purposes or providers change, we update this page and provide further information where required. Future sales will have their own terms and information.
