Your choice

Cookies and similar browser storage support the site and, with your permission, audience measurement. Essential storage is used for the requested service. Google Analytics is not loaded until you choose “Accept analytics”. “Reject analytics” leaves the site and pre-order form available. Neither scrolling nor continuing to browse counts as consent.

Use “Cookie settings” in the footer to change your choice at any time. Withdrawing analytics consent disables tracking, removes the site’s Analytics cookies and reloads the page to stop the loaded analytics script. The choice applies to this browser; other browsers and devices have separate choices.

Essential storage

specus_cookie_choice records acceptance or rejection for 180 days. It contains the choice, not your name or email. After expiry, we ask again.

specus_sa1_lead is a secure, HttpOnly receipt cookie set after the server accepts an SA-1 registration. It expires after 5 minutes and contains a random identifier rather than the form values. It supports confirmation of the successful request.

Optional analytics storage

_ga and _ga_* are first-party Google Analytics cookies used to distinguish visits and sessions. On this site their lifetime is configured to 180 days, without automatic extension on every visit. They are used only after consent. Browser restrictions can shorten their lifetime.

specus_sa1_lead_… entries in session storage prevent the same successful registration from being counted twice. These are created only with analytics consent, contain a receipt marker rather than form values, and last for the browser tab’s session. They are removed on withdrawal.

Google Analytics user-level and event-level data is configured to be retained for 14 months; this is separate from the lifetime of a cookie. Google’s explanation of Analytics cookies.

Browser controls and external services

Your browser can block or delete cookies. Removing the choice cookie makes the preference prompt appear again. Blocking all cookies can affect request confirmation. Analytics is optional; the form does not require analytics consent.

Google Fonts is requested to display the site font; it is not enabled or disabled by the Analytics choice and does not set Analytics cookies. External sites such as Instagram apply their own cookie policies when you visit them.
